Last Minute Appetizer Ideas For Easter Sunday

Put together a cheese plate for a last minute appetizer idea for any holiday get together!

In need of last minute appetizer ideas for Easter? Well you are in the right place…

For some reason, when I’m hosting any holiday meal, appetizers (finger foods, snacks, munchies…whatever you want to call them) seem to fall way low on the priority list as far as menu planning. It’s not because I don’t love them, they are actually my favorite part of any meal and I personally could eat a whole shlew of apps and happily forgo the rest of the food any day. But if I’m making the main meal, I usually get so preoccupied with that part of the meal I tend to forget the easy stuff like apps and snacks! However, if I’m planning to bring a dish to a holiday get together, I love to bring a dip or two with fresh veggies and pita chips.

I’m a snacky kind of girl – put some pickled or fresh veggies, dips, chips, cheese (like the one up there) and stuffed mushrooms in front of me and I will snack happy all day long.

Last minute appetizer and snack recipe ideas for upcoming spring and summer entertaining!

Whether you are hosting or bringing a dish to a meal this Easter Sunday, and you’re in need an idea of something “snacky” to serve while everyone is waiting for the main meal, then look no further. I’ve got you covered right here with these delicious last minute appetizer ideas!

Funny you should mention the apps…they always fall to the bottom of my list too. Being Italian, I tend to focus on the main meal preparation. I made your garlic feta dip for Christmas and it was a huge hit. Going with the stuffed mushrooms, different hard salami’s, several different cheeses, pizzagaina (which my dad makes), and shrimp. Happy Easter…love your blog!

I really love your blog. I copied two of the appetizer recipes for a later occasion. Thanks.

I think pretty much all meals should focus on appy’s and dessert! The main part, yeah, it’s good… but, I’d much rather pick at alot of different little bites instead! These are great appetizer ideas!

Every one of these looks so amazing! I wish I would have seen this before today–I was in charge of apps!

I needed to see this last week! It was just 3 of us for Easter this year, and I totally forgot about the apps. I wanted them, but it was last minute when I started thinking about them 🙁
