Food and Football!

Ok guys and gals…it’s almost football season! If your house is like mine, the anticipation of the start of the season is already here. In my house, it starts when Playstation 3’s College Football and Madden games come out…my husband is a big kid when it comes to video games and sports but that is what I love about him!

Now I love to watch football (especially when the Gators and Jaguars are playing), but what I love more is the “event” of watching football. It’s basically a reason to have a party (big or small) every week! Whether it’s just me and the fam, or we have a few friends over, or on the rare occasion that we are actually tailgating at the game, it’s all the same to me! I’m usually thinking all week about what we’re going to eat on Game Day!

You don’t have to love or even like football to participate in this event. All I am asking is for you to email me a recipe (or two) that you think can be enjoyed by few or many on Game Day! Dips, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, desserts, drinks … bring it all on! And if you want to represent your TEAM in your food – even better!!

Now doesn’t this sound like fun?

Please email me at [email protected] by Monday September 15:
Your name and blog name/link
Recipe name and link to post

Food and Football in subject line

And if you would, please include the event name and link to this post in your recipe post! Spread the word … the more the merrier! If you don’t have a blog and have a recipe, just email me your name, pic and recipe and I will include it too!

The Food and Football Roundup will be posted Friday, September 19!

Looking forward to seeing all of your great food!

Go Gators and Jags!
