Food and Football!
You don’t have to love or even like football to participate in this event. All I am asking is for you to email me a recipe (or two) that you think can be enjoyed by few or many on Game Day! Dips, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, desserts, drinks … bring it all on! And if you want to represent your TEAM in your food – even better!!
Now doesn’t this sound like fun?
Please email me at [email protected] by Monday September 15:
Your name and blog name/link
Recipe name and link to post
And if you would, please include the event name and link to this post in your recipe post! Spread the word … the more the merrier! If you don’t have a blog and have a recipe, just email me your name, pic and recipe and I will include it too!
The Food and Football Roundup will be posted Friday, September 19!
Go Gators and Jags!

Sounds fun, I’ll start working on some great game day favorites!
Gag! I hate sports, I mean REALLY hate them. But sporting food is good. I’m in!
I have a recipe that would be great. I’m in too!
This is such a great idea! I will be sure to get a recipe in!
What a great idea! I probably wouldn’t even watch football if food and drinks weren’t involved.
I am so in! It’s is gonna be a tough season for the Dawgs, especially when we play in Jacksonville. My hubby and I always cheer for Georgia first, but if it is SEC against anyone else, go SEC!
What a fun idea1 I’m in… now I just need to remember the date 🙂
i’m all for the food on game day! Then I just have to run more come Monday, but it is worth it. I will have to send in my recipe. What a cool event, Aggie 🙂
We’re huge football fans here – my husband even refs for high school. Unfortunately, we’ve decided NOT to get our Sunday Ticket from DirectTV this year. Our hearts are broken.
But at least the food will be good!
I’ve got a few things in mind…I’ll have to dig them up! What a great idea.
I’m all about food and football! We love to have parties at our place when our team (Chargers) is hot. That’s rare though unfortunately! Sounds like a fun event…
I’m a huge football (college) fan, though I’ll admit that part of the reason is the food involved in tailgating and game watches. Great blog event…I’ll be sending you something shortly!
I’m looking forward to seeing all of your recipes for Game Day food! I love getting new ideas! Sounds like most of us enjoy the eating and drinking as much if not MORE than the actual game! LOL!
Great event! I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself, lol! I can’t wait for the official start of football season. Off to dog through my recipes…
Um, that should be DIG, not DOG. hehe
I’m excited for football food too. I’ll get cracking on a recipe for you.
I love football! i love watching it with my friend, anyhow. When I lived in Miami, we’d go see the sucky Dolphins play all of the time. I have p-l-e-nty of recipes for game day!!! Every other Sunday somebody would host dinner at their apartment and we’d eat until we couldn’t move! Oh, how I miss those days! Thanks for bringing them back!
I will be sending you one my favorite game day recipes. I have actually posted a couple of my favorite appetizers already. This is a great idea.
Go Colts!
This will be so much fun! I hope that you post all of them so we can all share! I will be emailing you for sure!
Oh this sounds like so much fun! I absolutely love having gameday parties, what a great idea for a blogging event 🙂
