Hello and Goodbye…

by Aggies Kitchen on September 23, 2011

So today we are saying hello to Fall…and goodbye to Summer. How do you feel about that?

This bowl of Thai Red Curry Soup is perfect for me to share with you on the first day of Fall. It’s comfort food, which we all seem to crave come Fall time…and it’s full of some of summer’s best veggies, that I’m sure you still have around. It’s warm, and full of flavor and I’m sharing the recipe for it today over at Nicole’s blog, Pepperoni is Not a Vegetable…go check it out!

We’ve had colder weather for most of September and then today we got up to 90! Mother nature can’t make up her mind!

I love fall season in new England, which I miss very much. Here in the island we only get a slightly cooler climate, but still it is summer weather. The curry soup looks very tasty, will go to Nicole blog to check it out.

THANKS

Sad about tomatoes going away one more…

And the soup? Um, yes, please. But then, you knew I was going to say that. ;)

I don’t know how we’re already pushing towards October. Seriously. How?! Missing summer already, but so ready for winter!

I will miss fresh tomatoes from the farmer’s market, but I guess I’ll look forward to those pumpkins!

If the sun would stick around, I would enjoy all the seasons, but fall and winter seem to invite gray skies here in western Kentucky. thanks for the like to the recipe roundup!
