Banana Cupcakes with Honey Cinnamon Frosting – Again

by Aggies Kitchen on September 5, 2008

I’m made and posted about these before…back when I first started this blog. I made these for my son Sammy’s birthday celebration at his preschool today and figured I would share them again since I have a few more readers now than I did when I started.

These cupcakes are fabulous. I found the recipe in Everyday Food magazine a few months ago and they have become a favorite of mine. The cupcakes turn out so moist and muffin-like, they are so hard to resist – but then again, any cupcake is hard to resist! You can check out the recipe here.

Today is packing day for me…we are off to Sanibel Island tomorrow for a week vacation. This trip was planned months ago and it’s finally here! We’ve been there once, but never with the kids. I am so looking forward to having good old fashioned fun with them on the beach and in the pool, looking for seashells and riding bikes. It will be great to get away and have some down time on such a beautiful island on the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, I’m looking forward to getting a break in the kitchen and eating out at some local restaurants. I’ll be sure to share any good finds with you when I get back!

Keep your fingers crossed that these hurricanes/storms stay far far away from the state of Florida (and any state for that matter!!).

I have some posts coming next week…that’s if I did the future post date thingie right…so don’t stay away too long! And don’t forget to work on those recipes for my Food and Football event…there is a little over a week left till the deadline. Please email them to me and I’ll get them when I get back!

Have a great weekend everyone!!
