That beach is about 40 minutes from me...but I was spoiled and grew up 10 minutes from the beach so that feels too far!! But I know I'm lucky to have it. I can't live without it :)

I totally get what you are saying about summer! I always start out very energized and ready to entertain, but it gets old. Will be interesting to see in a few weeks ;) Happy almost summer to you too!

So true, not worth the money and they just don't taste as fresh. This makes a GREAT marinade!

You know I love your salads and dressings and this one is perfection. I like to make my own vinaigrette too and balsamic is my absolute favorite. Your frugal mustard jar tip is awesome - still to this day when I use a jarred marinara, I always add a bit of water and shake to get that last bit our of the jar. I think we may have grown up with similar influences in the kitchen :)

Yummy! I love salads and dressings too.
How far away from your home is that dreamy beach?
I have mixed feelings about summer. Nice not to have a schedule but kids at home pretty quickly become worse than any schedule.:) If they only listened all the time.:) Enjoy your time off, mama.

There's no reason to buy expensive vinaigrettes when you can make your own at home and it's so much fresher. Love this basic balsamic - it's perfect for almost any salad and as a marinade too.
