After one of your other book posts, I read Defending Jacob and Porch Lights. I liked them both. Recently I have read Me Before You (loved it) & also some of Susanna Kearsley’s books: Marianna, The Rose Garden and The Shadowy Horses (loved all them). Just tonight I started The Art Forger.

Firefly Lane is one of my favorite books of all-time. I have read it at least 5 times. The first time I read it, I was in a funk for 3 days afterwards. I really felt like I was living my life with Tully & Kate. You know there’s a sequel to this book? Honestly it’s not that great until the last 1/4.

I just finished Firefly Lane when we were on vacation this past week. So good!! I literally could not put it down. I read Defending Jacob a while ago too, and enjoyed it.

loved the kitchen house and defending jacob!! highly recommend the aviator’s wife if you’re looking for more to read!

I could not put Defending Jacob or The Kitchen House down. I feel the same as you about The Kitchen House…my favorite read of all time and you do take lots of time processing it after. I find myself comparing my level of like of all books to The Kitchen House…it is just that good. For those that might think Historical Fiction is boring…this book will most certainly change your mind
