Peppers and eggs, potatoes and eggs, and asparagus and eggs were all staples in my Italian family while I was growing up (especially around Lent). We are from the Northeast but not NY. I still love them all!

In reply to Erica. No, they sold it a few years back. My dad worked there for a while though during the transition. Right across from the beach in a small town, it was the perfect location :)

Ahhhh – having a family pizza restaurant sounds like HEAVEN to this Italian-American, pizza/bread loving gal. And these breakfast pitas ain’t too shabby – sound delish!
