Great recipe. Haven't ever seen one that was only 12 minutes but this is my first time trying it with honey and coconut oil. My son (4 yrs old) helped with it and had no problems. Easy good healthy recipe. Looking fwd to breakfast tomorrow. The chocolate will be a nice surprise. Your pictures on your blog are great!

Trying out your recipe as I type. My kitchen smells great. I used to a longer cooking time instead of only 12 minutes - but excited to be using honey instead of maple syrup or brown sugar and coconut oil instead of butter. I love good real organic butter - but its good to get away from animal fat occasionally ;) I make granola probably once a month or so for easy breakfasts - my son doesn't know about the chocolate I will be adding later. I can imagine we are going to a be having a very good morning tomorrow! He helped mix the nuts together. He'll be so surprised! I love how kid friendly this recipe is!

This looks so amazing. There is nothing like the smell of granola cooking. I like the smell of it better than fresh bread. So that's saying a lot. xx

Gentle reminder that I have not made granola in a long time. I use to make it very often along with yogurt, and am thinking I need to jump start that good habit. I like that you used coconut oil instead of butter - healthier!
