This recipe makes a LOT of sauce! Do you use all of the sauce on one round 8 slice pizza? I have found I have enough sauce for 2 pizzas with this recipe. I love throwing some fresh chopped tomatoes on top before baking, especially when we have fresh vine ripened tomatoes from our garden on hand. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

WE have known him ALMOST as long as you have!…and yes, he is the best pizza and calzone maker you will ever meet.
Your dad’s spinach pie is hubby’s absolute, favorite! He doesn’t even order when he sits down in the restaurant anymore, the waitress sees him and tells him if there are spinach slices available! It’s his favorite “rut” to be stuck in!
